Pursuant to RCW 42.12.080, the Desert Aire Airport District commissioners are seeking applicants and soliciting nominations for the recently vacated Desert Aire Airport District Commissioner #3 position. The person who assumes this position should also be willing to assume the duties of Airport Manager for the Desert Aire Regional Airport (M94). The commissioner position and the airport manager role are both unpaid positions.
If you are a registered voter living within the Desert Aire Airport District, have an interest in aviation, and if you believe in the airport's importance to the growth and vitality of Desert Aire then we, the current commissioners, would like to hear from you.
Please submit an email with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your skill set as it relates to this position to [[email protected]]. A background in aviation, management, and government interaction would be most helpful.
All applications will be evaluated by the current commissioners who will appoint the one they deem most qualified to serve out the remainder of the current two year term which ends December 31, 2025.
